The Northeast PA (NEPA) Chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society has
been sponsoring a model contest at the ECHS. Jack Smith, (from NEPA), has been running
this contest for years now, in an attempt to give non-IPMS'ers a taste of the IPMS Regional and
National Contests.
The numbers of entries along with their quality has been rising steadily, with the
best showing taking place last year. (It was reported that there were over 200 models entered in the contest.)
There were a small number of aircraft models out on display.
There were also armor and dioramas on display...
...along with a very, very detailed train yard scene.
...and several ships.
There were also a BUNCH of car models out on display.
